Hello Everyone! I know you may be wondering why I left CRU and on to a much smaller operation? CRU has been very good to me and my family, and I have worked with and met the best people around, but sometimes life happens and it's time for a change. I have missed the days of being in the kitchen and cooking my food. When you're running a large restaurant with 45 employees, it's hard to close yourself off in the kitchen. I missed the days of Harold's on Bay, where I cooked MY food. Then my wife got sick, and it seemed like a no-brainer, time to downsize. When I heard about Blue Windows Bistro moving to Sanibel, and my long-standing friendship with Christian and Mari, it was obvious what I needed to do!
Harold's is a small upscale restaurant serving creative American cuisine, built in alignment with the farm-to-table movement. Our menu is free of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, antibiotics, hormones, is GMO-free, and naturally and humanely sourced from local farmers, supporting local business and the future of the slow food movement. The menu will feature chicken, pork and a majority of vegetables raised at Rosy Tomorrow's Heritage Farm in North Fort Myers, and other farms. The other menu items will include homemade pastas, fresh seafood and wild game.

We are open Wednesday through Saturday starting at 5pm. It's February and we were able to get some Kobe Filet and will be featuring it by the 2ounce portion all month. Our first wine dinner was a smash so we've started planning our second one near the end of March, details to follow! Thanks for a great first four months and hope to see you soon!
